Summer Paradise Millet

Are you looking to get out of your breakfast rut?

This quick and easy breakfast recipe will help you get out of your breakfast rut and feel energized!

And, in the process it will help to regulate your blood sugar levels, provide you with lasting energy and the pineapple and toasted coconut will give you a taste of summer-time paradise.

Often thought of a bird food and overlooked, I think that Millet is one of the Smartest and Sexiest of all the cereal grains.

In the treatment of blood sugar imbalances, Millet is the preferred grain. It also has the richest amino-acid protein profile of all of the cereal grains, the highest iron content, is gluten-free and can be either found in the bulk section of your local natural foods store or online (there are soo many great recipes you can make with millet, I highly suggest trying different things with it!).

The great thing about this recipe is that it is easily adaptable.  After you cook the...

Something Big Has Shifted

Something big has shifted - my focus in my work.

Things had been shifting for a few months now but the big AHA! came about when I was talking with a client that we had just finished working through money blocks and she said:

“I’m feeling confident and stronger. The abundance is not just in money as I thought; I thought it had to be in money but it's in everything around me & it's been an incredible feeling”

The thing is, I was previously working with helping everyone with everything. My focus was once to help people with ANY struggle that came to me.

BUT...what I started to realize was that….

  • It’s exhausting for me because I was trying to be everything to everyone in my communication.
  • There was a common theme with everyone that I worked with--everyone struggles with their relationship with money, which stops them from being confident in their business….so they play small (you’ve been there, right?)

Use This Simple Process to De-Stress!

In my last blog post I talked about the 5 different “bodies” we have and how using them for a framework can help you make quick changes when you are struggling (let’s be real, this past year, we’ve each struggled in some way!) so you can go back to your life, business, and relationships with energy and peace.

For a review, they are:

Physical body --this is the one we live in, the skin, bones, and everything else.

Emotional Body--this is the body we FEEL in. It’s the level at which we experience and store many emotions — happy, sad, guilty, or fearful.

Energetic Body-- this is the body of subtle energy flows—think along the lines of meridians and chakras (energy centers).

Mental Body-- this is our mind ~ what you think, believe, value, how you perceive yourself and the world.

Spiritual Body--this is your soul ~ the connection to God, Universe, or whichever higher being that you believe in.

I said I’d share some questions you...

5-Bodies: This IS a Game-Changer For Creating Shifts In your World

As life continues to shift and change and stress levels are at all time highs for most people I wanted to write this email to share something my clients are finding incredibly helpful in managing their stress.

When we are struggling in life, there is never just “one” thing that is the cause.

It is typically a variety of things but sometimes we don’t know where to start to find the answers.

A while back I read about the 5 Bodies framework (I can’t remember where, otherwise I’d totally give it credit) and have been sharing it with everyone.

This framework has been a game-changer in making it easy for my clients to create change for themselves (I'll share with you how my client Laurie used it to take back control of her life in a minute!)

The basic gist of it is that we have 5 different “bodies.”

We all know about our Physical body (this is the one we live in, the skin, bones, and everything...

Chocolate Hot Chocolate & Mousse (non-dairy, no refined sugar)

dairy-free gluten-free Dec 08, 2020

This recipe, like many of my others, happened purely by accident.

I made a delicious sugar-free Hot Chocolate then put the leftovers in the fridge for later. When I went to heat it up again, it was solid in state and I realized that it was as good (if not better) than the Hot Chocolate.

Because I like really easy recipes, I did some simple tweaks and this Chocolate Mousse was born. And has been HIT overtime I bring it with me to parties.

Some things to know:

I make in a Vitamix—I haven’t tried it in a regular blender so I can’t guarantee what it will turn out like (a friend did it and said it was good).

If you really love chocolate--double the recipe to make A LOT.  While that may seem like a lot, when you try it, you will be glad that you have so much. What I typically do is portion out 1 cup servings and have one (or two, lol) a day.

Feel free to add your own flavorings to change it up--I'm a big fan of mint and chocolate together or cinnamon, the...

Which Is Blocking You?

Uncategorized Dec 01, 2020

Have you ever tried to catch a ball, only to get blocked by someone?

You can’t help but feel disappointed because you nearly reached your outcome to catch the ball, but you didn’t.

People face blocks all the time. It’s a part of life.

You are on my email list because you have a desire to live a great life ~ unblocked.

Today, I wanted to talk about the 3 biggest blocks you will face in life.

Being able to identify and anticipate these will save you a ton of time and heartache in life...who doesn't want that?

1. Internal
The first block, and the one that gives us the most agency to change, is our internal blocks.

These are the thoughts/beliefs we have about ourselves, our life, and our ability to experience what we desire.

You will face this block pretty much every moment you are alive ~ which may sound dreadful, but it can actually be fun when we see those thoughts/beliefs as just clouds passing by.

The fastest way to grow beyond this block is to question every...

A Little Rain Can't Keep This Away...

My current reality is that I’m at the beach for vacation...and as I write this, it’s raining….

In the past +   =

But living aligned with abundance creates this equation +   =   as I’m now able to see all of the goodness that comes with every situation, whether it’s one I like or not.

In my last blog post, I asked what abundance meant to you—y’all wrote back and said things like:

Having an abundance of opportunities
Experiencing an abundance of laughter
Living in an abundance of joy
An abundance of money in your bank account

One of my favorite things I hear people say is that when we release the trapped emotions and traumas that are keeping them stuck they finally feel like they have the space to allow abundance to come into their world.

Whether it’s an abundance of

Money
Time
Joy
Health

they now see that THEY were the ones...

What My Breakup Is Showing Me About Abundance

Uncategorized Sep 30, 2020

Breakups suck.

No matter who is the one doing the breaking up, they are hard.

I’m fresh out of a breakup and man, I have been learning so much.

As I mentioned in my last email, I had been quiet for a few months because I was believing that “no one wants to hear what I have to say”.

I worked with my Body Code practitioner to move out the trapped emotions/trauma that were keeping me silent and, well…. the flood gates have opened!

So, what does that have to do with breakups and abundance?

Historically, when I experienced a break-up, it was natural to go down the “Woah-is-me-I-have no-body-that-loves-me-there-is-nothing-good-in-my-life-to-be-happy-about” road real quick.

In the past few years, I’ve been doing a lot of work releasing all the gunk that’s made it really easy for me to go down that road and really hard for me to see all of the abundance around me.

I’m seeing the results of all of that work because, even though I am sad...

I Was Guilty of The Shoemaker’s Children Syndrome

Uncategorized Sep 23, 2020

Writing this is a bit embarrassing, it’s personal and vulnerable!

If you follow my stuff, you may know me as someone who can help people get unstuck with their beliefs and emotions through combining coaching and The Body Code.

Which, is true…and makes it even more embarrassing to share that for MONTHS I had been struggling with the belief “no one wants to hear what I have to say"

It’s what’s prevented me from sending out emails and writing blog posts.

I’ve reluctantly been posting on social media.

All because I was believing “no one wants to hear what I have to say!”

For some reason I didn’t bother to use The Body Code on myself to clear out that belief.

I was guilty of the Shoemaker’s Children Syndrome.

It’s a term that refers to an old proverb that tells of a shoemaker who was so busy making shoes for his customers that his wife and kids went shoeless.

The moral of the story is to be careful not neglect ourselves...
