Do you have a “bucket-list”?
Years ago I started calling it my “live life to the fullest” list as “bucket list” seems kind of depressing to me.
I love the idea of creating fun, memorable adventures in life so “live life to the fullest” seemed to be more fitting, personally.
AND….I’m getting to cross something off that’s been on my list for years.
May 31-June 5 I am going to be swimming with wild dolphins in the Bahamas!!!
I’m going to a place called Wildquest that I’ve had on my list for YEARS to do but for whatever reason, never pulled the trigger until now….
Since I didn’t owe as much in taxes as I had saved I figured I would treat myself to this experience.
We’ll be out on a catamaran each day for about 7 hours looking for wild dolphins...

I’m in Charlotte, NC and it’s getting a little crazy here--If you haven’t heard, there’s a gas shortage on the east coast and trying to find places with gas around here has been like a scavenger hunt apparently!
It’s safe to say that the lack of an abundance of gas currently is creating some havoc!
Funny what happens when we feel the opposite of abundance…
Most of us going into modes of:
preventing us from living the type of life we desire.
It happens with women and money ALL. THE. TIME.
When we feel like money and abundance is scarce, things get dicey (I’ve definitely been there myself!), which creates more chaos..which creates more scarcity….

Something big has shifted - my focus in my work.
Things had been shifting for a few months now but the big AHA! came about when I was talking with a client that we had just finished working through money blocks and she said:
“I’m feeling confident and stronger. The abundance is not just in money as I thought; I thought it had to be in money but it's in everything around me & it's been an incredible feeling”
The thing is, I was previously working with helping everyone with everything. My focus was once to help people with ANY struggle that came to me.
BUT...what I started to realize was that….
As life continues to shift and change and stress levels are at all time highs for most people I wanted to write this email to share something my clients are finding incredibly helpful in managing their stress.
When we are struggling in life, there is never just “one” thing that is the cause.
It is typically a variety of things but sometimes we don’t know where to start to find the answers.
A while back I read about the 5 Bodies framework (I can’t remember where, otherwise I’d totally give it credit) and have been sharing it with everyone.
This framework has been a game-changer in making it easy for my clients to create change for themselves (I'll share with you how my client Laurie used it to take back control of her life in a minute!)

“I want to die”
These were the exact words I thought in December of 2005.
I recently quit my first job as a therapist at a group home for adolescent girls.
My lease was up on the house I was renting and since I quit my job and didn’t know what I was going to do, I moved back in with my parents (God bless them for letting me move back in!).
I had ZERO ideas about what I wanted to do with my life.AND, even though I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, I was eating every sugary thing in site ~ it was the holiday season after all, isn’t that what you are supposed to do???
I got to a point where I literally could not get out of bed ~ my body felt as if it had cement running slugging through it.
Each morning I woke up even more exhausted than I did when I went to bed.
To say that I felt pretty sh*tty would be an understatement.
Ok, I do know that this was a 1st world problem and others have had way sh*ttier experiences…And, this was my reality and wanting to die...

This time of year it’s not uncommon to hear some form of those words.
* Spending time with family
* Having enough money for the holidays
* Having enough time to do everything
* Being around so much junk food when you are attempting to be healthy...

So what is “Anxiety”?
Google says anxiety is your body’s natural response to stress.
Last week we talked about Stress and how google says it’s “Physical, mental or emotional strain or tension"
But that doesn’t answer what stress is.
Beyond money, time, jobs, stress is the belief that reality should be different than it currently is.
